6 Kalimas of Islam
The six Kalimas hold great significance in Islam, representing fundamental declarations of faith and belief. These Kalimas are essential for every Muslim to learn, understand, and recite. The 6 Kalimas are brief phrases or sentences summarizing some of the general and basic principles of Islam. They are words related to Islamic belief and faith, taken from various hadiths of the Prophet (PBUH).
اسلام کے چھ کلمے بہت اہمیت رکھتے ہیں، جو ایمان اور عقیدے کے بنیادی اعلانات کی نمائندگی کرتے ہیں۔ ہر مسلمان کے لیے ان کلموں کو سیکھنا، سمجھنا اور پڑھنا ضروری ہے۔چھ کلمے مختصر عبارات یا جملے ہیں جو اسلام کے کچھ عمومی اور بنیادی اصولوں کا خلاصہ پیش کرتے ہیں۔ یہ اسلامی عقیدے اور ایمان سے متعلق الفاظ ہیں، جو مختلف احادیث سے ماخوذ ہیں۔
6 Kalimas of Islam
پہلا کلمہ طیب
First Kalima: Tayyab (Purity)
اللہ کے سوا کوئی معبود نہیں محمّدؐ اللہ کے رسول ہے
English Translation: There is no God but Allah Muhammad is the messenger of Allah
دوسرا کلمہ شہادت
Second Kalima: Shahadat (Testimony)
اَشْهَدُ اَنْ لَّآ اِلٰهَ اِلَّا اللهُ وَحْدَہٗ لَاشَرِيْكَ لَہٗ وَاَشْهَدُ اَنَّ مُحَمَّدًا عَبْدُهٗ وَرَسُولُہٗ
میں گواہی دیتا ہو کہ اللہ کے سوا کوئی معبود نہیں وہ اکیلا ہے اسکا کوئی شریک نہیں اور میں گواہی دیتا ہو کہ محمد ﷺ اسکے بندے اور رسول ہیں
English Translation: I bear witness that no-one is worthy of worship but Allah, the One alone, without partner, and I bear witness that Muhammad is His servant and Messenger
تیسرا کلمہ تمجید
Third Kalima: Tamjeed (Glorification)
سُبْحَان اللهِ وَالْحَمْدُلِلّهِ وَلا إِلهَ إِلّااللّهُ وَاللّهُ أكْبَرُ وَلا حَوْلَ وَلاَ قُوَّةَ إِلَّا بِاللّهِ الْعَلِيِّ الْعَظِيْم
اللہ کی ذات پاک ہے اور سب تعریفیں اللہ کیلئے ہیں اور اللہ کے سوا کوئی معبود نہیں اور اللہ بہت بڑا ہے ۔گناہوں سے بچنے کی طاقت اور نیک کام کرنے کی توفیق نہیں مگر اللہ کی جانب سے جو بہت بلند اور عظمت والا ہے۔
English Translation: Glory be to Allah and Praise to Allah, and there is no God but Allah, and Allah is the Greatest. And there is no Might or Power except with Allah.
چوتھا کلمہ توحید
Fourth Kalima: Tauheed (Unity)
لَا إِلَٰهَ إِلَّا ٱللَّٰهُ وَحْدَهُ لَا شَرِيكَ لَهُ، لَهُ ٱلْمُلْكُ وَلَهُ ٱلْحَمْدُ، يُحْيِي وَيُمِيتُ وَهُوَ حَيٌّ لَا يَمُوتُ أَبَدًا أَبَدًا، ذُو ٱلْجَلَالِ وَٱلْإِكْرَامِ بِيَدِهِ ٱلْخَيْرُ وَهُوَ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيرٌ
اللہ کے سوا کوئی معبود نہیں وہ اکیلا ہے اسکا کوئی شریک نہیں، اسی کی بادشاہی ہے اور اس کے لیے تمام تعریفے ہے۔ وہ زندہ کرتا ہے اور وہ مرواتا ہے۔ اور وہ ہمیشہ کیلئے زندہ ہے وہ مرے گا نہیں عظمت اور بزرگی والا ہے ، بہتری اسی کے ہاتھ میں ہے اور ہر چیز پر قادر ہے۔
English Translation: (There is) none worthy of worship except Allah. He is only One. (There is) no partners for Him. For Him (is) the kingdom. And for Through Him (is) the Praise. He gives life and causes death. And He (is) Alive. He will not die, never, ever. Possessor of Majesty and Reverence. In His hand (is) the goodness. And He (is) the goodness. And He (is) on everything powerful.
پانچواں کلمہ استغفار
Fifth Kalima: Astaghfar (Penitence)
أَسْتَغْفِرُ ٱللَّٰهَ رَبِّي مِنْ كُلِّ ذَنْبٍ أَذْنَبْتُهُ عَمَدًا أَوْ خَطَأً سِرًّا أوْ عَلَانِيَةً وَأَتُوبُ إِلَيْهِ مِنَ ٱلذَّنْبِ ٱلَّذِي أَعْلَمُ وَمِنَ ٱلذَّنْبِ ٱلَّذِي لَا أَعْلَمُ، إِنَّكَ أَنْتَ عَلَّامُ ٱلْغُيُوبِ وَسَتَّارُ ٱلْعُيُوْبِ وَغَفَّارُ ٱلذُّنُوبِ وَلَا حَوْلَ وَلَا قُوَّةَ إِلَّا بِٱللَّٰهِ ٱلْعَلِيِّ ٱلْعَظِيمِ
معافی مانگتا ہو ں اے میرے اللہ ہر گناہ سے جو میں نے جان بوجھ کر کیا ہے یا بھول کر کیا ہے ،در پردہ یا کھلم کھلا اور میں توبہ کرتا ہو اسکے حضور میں اس گناہ سے جو مجھے معلوم ہے اور اس گناہ سے جو مجھے معلوم نہیں،بے شک تو عیبوں کو جاننے والے اور عیبوں کو چھپانے والا ہے، اور گناہوں سے بخشنے والا ہے اور گناہوں سے بچنے کی طاقت اور نیک کام کرنے کی طاقت اللہ ہی کی طرف سے ہے۔ جو عالی شان اور عظمت والا ہے۔
English Translation: I seek forgiveness from Allah, my lord, from every sin I committed knowingly or unknowingly, secretly or openly, and I turn towards Him from the sin that I know and from the sin that I do not know. Certainly You, You (are) the knower of the hidden things and the Concealer (of) the mistakes and the Forgiver (of) the sins. And (there is) no power and no strength except from Allah, the Most High, the Most Great.
چھٹا کلمہ ردکفر
Sixth Kalima: Radde Kufr (Rejecting Disbelief)
ٱللَّٰهُمَّ إِنِّي أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ أَنْ أُشْرِكَ بِكَ شَيْءً وَأَنَا أَعْلَمُ بِهِ وَأَسْتَغْفِرُكَ لِمَا لَا أَعْلَمُ بِهِ تُبْتُ عَنْهُ وَتَبَرَّأَتُ مِنَ ٱلْكُفْر وَٱلشِّرْكِ وَٱلْكِذْبِ وَٱلْغِيبَةِ وَٱلْبِدْعَةِ وَٱلنَّمِيمَةِ وَٱلْفَوَاحِشِ وَٱلْبُهْتَانِ وَٱلْمَعَاصِي كُلِّهَا وَأَسْلَمْتُ وَأَقُولُ لَا إِلَٰهَ إِلَّا ٱللَّٰهُ مُحَمَّدٌ رَسُولُ ٱللَّٰهِ
آے اللہ میں پناہ مانگتا ہو اس بات سے کہ میں کسی شے کو تیرا شریک بناو جان بوجھ کر،اور بخشش مانگتاہو میں تم سے اس کام کی جو میں جانتا نہیں ہواور میں نے اس سے توبہ کیا اور بیزار ہوا کفر سے، شرک سے، اور جھوٹ سے، اور غیبت سے، اور بدعت سے ، اور چغلی سے ، اور بے حیائی سے، اور بہتان سے اور تمام گناہوں سے اور میں اسلام لایا اور میں کہتا ہوکہ اللہ کے سوا کوئی معبود نہیں اور محمد ﷺ اللہ کے رسول ہے۔
English Translation: O Allah! Certainly I seek protection with You from, that I associate partner with You anything and I know it. And I seek forgiveness from You for that I do not know it. I repended from it and I made myself free from disbelief and polytheism and the falsehood and the back-biting and the innovation and the tell-tales and the bad deeds and the blame and the disobedience, all of them. And I submit and I say (there is) none worthy of worship except Allah, Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah
